Welcome to the Dune Wiki, a Wikia-hosted wiki dedicated to the fictional universe created by legendary science-fiction writer Frank Herbert. Dune Wiki was founded in August 2005, and currently contains 1,897 articles.
[edit] Objective
The aim of the Dune Wiki is to catalog the fictional Dune universe in one dedicated hierarchy, and provide both seasoned fans and newcomers with a comprehensive resource for every character, concept, event, and related work.
But additionally, the Dune Wiki places great importance on community. The regular contributors to the Dune Wiki aim to provide a constructive environment for analysis and explanation of the original Dune novels, and to a slightly lesser extent screen adaptations and the Dune novels written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
[edit] How you can become involved
The Dune Wiki has been steadily growing since August 2005. But there's always room for growth and improvement. So if you're a fan of Dune and want to get involved you're encouraged to go for it. But please keep any additions or edits relevant to the spirit and scope of the wiki.
