When Jimmak was born, his genetic 'weakness' was apparent and he was placed in the jungle to die. However, Jimmak and several other Misborn survived and lived on. Jimmak's face was wide and round, his forehead sloped, his blue eyes innocent and wide-set. He had a sweet disposition that did not make up for his dull intellect.
Jimmak would assist the Rossak men in their hunt for pharmaceutical plants for VenKee Enterprises. Despite Cenva's constant scorn, she had never been able to convince Jimmak that he wasn't welcome in the cliff city with all the normal people. He kept coming back.
Jimmak often helped pharmaceutical prospectors who wandered through the Rossak jungle, showing them around the convoluted maze of the jungle's darkest levels. It was him who found a VenKee drug prospector hit by the Rossak Epidemic, a new mutation of the Omnius Scourge, and brought him to the Sorceresses' dining chambers.
During the resurgence of the Omnius Scourge on Rossak, Jimmak took Raquella Berto-Anirul into the jungle after she contracted the plague. The water used from the cenote pool stopped the Scourge and enabled Raquella to recover. Raquella awoke already at the pool and had no idea how to get back. Jimmak would not reveal the pool's whereabouts because of a fear that it would be taken away from the misborn. Raquell's survival contributed to her ability to change her own body chemistry to 'disarm' any poison. The final episode of her evolution came when Ticia Cenva attempted to poison her and prevent any antidote to the Scourge.
Nothing else is mentioned of Jimmak after Raquella's survival and Ticia's death.
Behind the scenesEdit
The date of Jimmak's birth is not known. Raquella only assumed he was 15 or 16 years old the time she met him.
