Habla [b. 10071 AG] was a woman of Hassika V; she was the fourth of the wives of Elrood IX. They married in 10100 AG
Elrood had gotten himself into political trouble late in his impulsive marriage, and several Landsraad leaders such as Paulus Atreides and Dominic Vernius had been forced to use their House military might to enforce stability again.
After nineteen years of childless marriage Elrood IX had one of the frozen embryos (from Barbara Mutelli) implanted in Habla. She then gave birth to Shaddam IV. The boy, as well as Habla, were tended by her lady-in-waiting, Chaola Fenring.
