The Great Struggle or The Century Without an Emperor, was a period of history during the beginnings of human-kind on Terra. It is signified by the final collapse and fall of the Greek or Byzantine Empire, and there being no dominant Empire to claim the title of Imperial Seat.
Ninety-two years later with the discoveries and claims laid out by Spain in the New World, or American continent; and their union with Austria by dynastic marriage with the Hapsburgs, the Imperial Seat moved to the Spanish capital of Madrid.
