Guldur (or Dur) is the name used for the God-Emperor Leto Atreides II by many who returned to the Old Empire from The Scattering.
Also in the Legends of Dune trilogy, the High Priest of Dur leads the procession for Shaddam Corrino IV's coronation as Padishah Emperor after the death of his father Elrood Corrino IX. The Priest is mentioned in other chapters but is not a central, secondary, or even tertiary character. The implications in the narrative of Brian Herbert's and Kevin J. Anderson's trilogy is that the High Priest of Dur had no official duties other than coronations and marriages of the ruling house. AtreidesDZ 17:04, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
