The City of Introspection was a monastic retreat outside of Zimia.
Before the Zensunni and Zenshiite slaves retreated to uncharted Unallied Planets, they had toiled for generations on Salusa Secundus. A debate about their exile made followers of fractured faiths to arrive there to study ancient religious and philosophical writings.
The City therefore was conceived. It had originally been established to study and ponder the Zen Hekiganshu of III Delta Pavonis, the Tawrah, the Talmudic Zabur and the Obeah Ritual, the Muadru runestones, the Navachristian traditions of Poritrin and Chusuk, and the Koran Sutras.
It was populated by Cogitors and philosophers.
Some years before the Butlerian Jihad, it was owned by a Butler trust and the City had gradually blossomed.
The city had gem-gravel paths, fish pools, skirting ornate fountains and tall lilies that evoked a placid atmosphere conducive to deep thinking.
